Isaac Sam
Biotechnologist
Isaac Sam is a Ghanaian who earned his Bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology from the University of Cape Coast, Ghana. His research interests are in improving agricultural products through biotechnology in a sustainable, environmentally friendly way.
Sam is currently pursuing his Master's degree in Sustainable Agriculture at Lincoln University and works as a graduate Research Assistant. His research will focus on the use of modern tools of Biotechnology, such as DNA and RNA sequencing, Genome-Wide Association Analysis of the circulatory and fecal metabolome, and its potential mediation effects on productive traits, including disease resistance and body weight in sheep.
